CRR is a percentage of the depositors money that must be kept on hold.Inotherwords,Cash reserve ratio is the portion of customers deposit with commercial banks that mustbe reserved with the central bank either in cash or cash equivalent.
Cash reserve ratio is determined by the apex bank of any nation(i.e Central bank),CRR also helps control the money supply of a country.
