The cement company has slashed the price of cement from N1,800 to N1,300.Also,the cement company announced the construction of new plant at Okpella in Edo State with a production capacity of three million per annum and at Itori,Ogun State with a production capacity of six million per annum.
The new plants are expected to add nine million metric tonnes per annum to the company’s current local cement output from 29.25 million metric tonnes per annum (mmtpa) to 38.25 mmtpa.
