Sharing tips on Productivity

    
    Hello everyone, trust you had a blessed weekend and welcome to a new week.

    Two weeks ago,i had an online course on productivity by Paul Minors and am here to share some facts that you can deploy to use for your personal growth.

          Productivity is the ability to increase your effectiveness and efficiency,it gives you the privilege of making a faster and better quality approach towards your goals.Effectiveness is doing the right kind of work while Efficiency is doing the work the right way(i.e its not about what you do but how you do what you do).

   3 pillars of productivity needs to result in effectiveness and efficiency which is stated in a formula-like view;

      Time+Energy +Attention= Effectiveness & Efficiency

      Now,lets take a look at the practical steps you also can deploy for your personal use;

STEP 1    GOAL SETTING

       Goal setting leads to a productive lifestyle and your goals must be 
Specific,Measurable,Achievable,Realistic and Timely (SMART)


STEP 2    DISSECT YOUR GOALS

          Breakdown your goals into short and long term,your short term goals should lead you to the achievement of your long term goals even if you encounter challenges,you know where you're heading to.
      Charles C noble said and I quote '' You must have a long term goal to keep you from being frustrated by short term failures''

STEP 3:  MANAGE YOUR TIME

    Have a daily task or to-do-list and make sure you work along with whatever you've written down.For instance,start planning your week right from a Sunday and make your schedule flexible enough to accommodate emergencies.

STEP 4 : MAXIMIZE YOUR ENERGY

     Do this by having enough sleep,good exercise and the right diet.

STEP 5:  FOCUS YOUR ATTENTION & DON'T ALLOW DISTRACTIONS

STEP 6:  MAKE IT A ROUTINE BY MAPPING & SCHEDULING KEY GOALS AND                    RECURRING EVENTS ON YOUR CALENDAR.
